TMJ & Jaw Pain
Biomechanics-led treatment for jaw tension, jaw clicking, tension headaches and misalignment. We resolve TMJ pain, jaw dysfunction and neck tension by correcting the pressure and movement patterns that drive these problems in the first place.
If your jaw keeps clicking, locking, feeling tight, or you rely on constant massage to cope — you're not dealing with a local jaw issue. You're dealing with a whole-body mechanics issue.

A Whole-Body Issue
Most people are told their jaw is "overactive" or their neck is "weak." In reality, the jaw and neck are compensating for deeper imbalances:
When the foundation isn't stable, your jaw, neck and shoulders will grip harder just to keep you upright.
Symptoms vs. System
These approaches can bring relief, but they treat the symptoms — not the system that produces them.
Ease tension for a while, but the jaw goes back to gripping once you move again.
Calms an overactive muscle without changing why it was overworking.
Build local muscle rather than global integration across the body.
Move the joint, but the pattern loading it stays the same.
Protect the teeth without addressing why the jaw clenches.
Reduce a symptom locally while the underlying mechanics are untouched.
"This literature meta-analysis showed a correlation between posture and TMD. Nerve pathways probably regulate both body posture and mandibular posture." PMC
Translation: the way you hold and control your whole body is linked to jaw problems, not just the joint itself.

The Assessment
Your initial assessment looks at the actual drivers of your jaw and neck tension. We use slow-motion video analysis and FP-based assessment to map out your full-body mechanics. We assess:
This gives us a clear picture of why your jaw or neck has become the "weak link."

Where Other Methods Stall
Most TMJ and neck pain cases we see aren't "neck problems." They're pressure problems. Strengthening or stretching a system that's already gripping only reinforces the pattern — which is why the same symptoms keep returning.
If rib–pelvis mechanics are off, more "strengthening" only reinforces the problem.
They build local muscle, not global integration.
You don't need a stronger jaw — you need a more stable foundation.
If the ribs, pelvis and feet aren't organised, the jaw never relaxes.
Symptom relief without structural change means symptoms return.
They're pressure problems — so we correct pressure, not the symptom.

The Functional Patterns Framework
We rebuild your mechanics so your jaw and neck no longer need to compensate. We focus on:
As your movement system organises, the jaw and neck naturally decompress and symptoms fade.
Conditions We Support
Whether your symptoms feel muscular, joint-related or stress-driven, the underlying issue is the same: your pressure mechanics need restoring.
What to Expect
Our goal is not temporary relief — it's long-term correction.
